Though it was supposed to be a measure to protect them against some persistent fairies, Edgar is taking it far more seriously than that. This volume comprises a number of short stories from the early days of Lydia's employment. There are also tales set before the pair met, including Lydia's first encounter with Kelpie and her first experience with heartbreak.
