We would like to inform you that, from March 31st, 2025 (Japan Standard Time), the ownership of the BOOK☆WALKER Global service, currently managed by BOOK WALKER Co., Ltd. in Japan, will be transferred to a group company, M12 Media LLC, based in the USA.
As part of this transfer, new features and service improvements tailored to the North American market are planned in the future. However, there will be no changes to the services provided to you as of March 31st, 2025.
You will continue to enjoy the same services after the transition. You can keep using the same ID and password you currently use for both the Japan and Global stores, and you will still be able to access and read your purchased or acquired eBooks and audiobooks as you do now. The URL for the Global Store (global.bookwalker.jp) will also remain unchanged.

About Customer’s Information
As part of this transfer, customer information for those who meet the following conditions will be managed by M12 Media LLC from March 31st, 2025.
Customers who meet any of the following criteria as of March 31st, 2025, will be affected:
- Have obtained a free or purchased English eBooks or audiobooks, or
- Created an account through the Global Store (global.bookwalker.jp).
*If a customer has moved English titles to the
Archive and then deleted them completely, they will be excluded from the list.
The following information will be transferred:
- Personal information (name, email address, etc.)
- BOOK☆WALKER Global rank information
- BOOK☆WALKER Global purchase history
- Information on titles purchased on BOOK☆WALKER Global
- Registered payment method for pre-order/subscription service, etc.
Affected customers will receive a separate email or a message via the store’s
Messages.
Please note that you will not be able to cancel your membership for the BOOK☆WALKER Global alone at the time of the transfer. If you wish to cancel, you must cancel your membership for both the Japan Store (bookwalker.jp) and the Global Store (global.bookwalker.jp).
Once the cancellation is completed, we will not be able to restore the account under any circumstances.
Additionally, the payment information you have registered on BOOK☆WALKER Global may need to be updated. If so, further details will be provided in the "Notice" section of the Global Store.
Update of Terms and Policies
Along with this transfer, our
Terms of Use,
Privacy Policy and
Cookie Policy will be updated to include additional details about data handling related to the transfer, as well as further measures to protect your privacy and rights.
Once the new terms and policies are finalized, we will provide the details in the "Notice" section of the Global Store.
For customers using the Japan Store (bookwalker.jp), please continue to follow the terms and policies of the Japan Store as present.

- March 31st 07:00 am - April 1st 07:00 am, 2025 EST (Eastern Standard Time)
- March 31st 11:00 am - April 1st 11:00 am, 2025 GMT (Greenwich Mean Time)
- March 31st 04:00 pm - April 1st 04:00 pm, 2025 JST (Japan Standard Time)
Please note that some payment methods will be unavailable 30 minutes before the date/time mentioned above.
During this time, BOOK☆WALKER Global services (web and in-app store), including purchases and points history, will be temporarily unavailable.
Further details, including the exact timing and affected services, will be announced in the store’s "Notice" section.
About the “Buy with Coins (JPY)” Payment Feature
As part of this transfer, the “Buy with Coins (JPY)” payment feature, based on Japanese yen, will be discontinued.
The “Coins” purchased via the Android in-app store or on the Japan web store (bookwalker.jp) can continue to be used in the Japan Store.
Additionally, after the transfer, customers of the BOOK☆WALKER Global will be able to convert Japanese yen-based “Coins” to dollar-based “Points”.
Details about the conversion conditions and applicable period will be provided later in the “Notice” section of the Global Store by M12 Media LLC.
