[Important] Regarding the new “Buy with Coins (JPY)” function
Thank you very much for using BOOK☆WALKER. We deeply apologize for not sharing important information about the new “Buy with Coins (JPY)” function. The following rules will apply to the “Buy with Coin (JPY)” function from March 27 (2024) 00:00:00 - June 30 (2024) 23:59:59 (PDT):
1. Point Reward
Points will be granted around July 10th (2024) based on (1) the USD price at the time of purchase and (2) your membership rank in the month of purchase.
*Point-backs through campaigns will not be eligible when purchased through “Buy with Coins (JPY)”.
2. Membership Rank
Purchases made in the above period will count towards your membership rank.

Example:
Your membership rank in April is "Guardian (10% point-back)" and you have purchased a title worth USD 6.99/JPY 1,076 using “Buy with Coins (JPY)” until June 30 (2024) 23:59:59 (PDT).
1) You will receive 0.69 points in July (= USD 6.99 x 10%)
2) The purchase amount of USD 6.99 will be counted towards your membership calculation from August.
*Purchases via "Buy with Coins (JPY)" from March 27 (2024) until June 30 (2024) PDT count as July purchases and therefore determine your membership rank from August until December.

Important:
From July 1 (PDT) the following rules will apply when purchasing titles via "Buy with Coin (JPY)":
- No Points (USD) or Coins (JPY) will be granted.
- Purchases will not count towards the membership rank calculation.
In addition, no purchase confirmation emails are sent and the purchase does not reflect in the “Payment History” and “Point History”.
As mentioned in our prior announcement, it’s not possible to exchange Coins (JPY) to Points (USD).
Therefore, we recommend that you use your remaining coins during the above period to receive point and membership rank benefits.
As an apology for the inconveniences caused by this matter, we set the current Japanese Yen (JPY) price shown on the details page, which is based on the exchange rate from US Dollar (USD) to Japanese Yen (JPY), to a favorable 1 USD = 140 JPY rate.
This exchange rate will be used until June 30 (2024) 23:59:59 (PDT), but may change without prior notice.
The above rules do not apply to pre-orders, gift purchases or regular purchases.
