[Important] System failure on the iOS app (Ver. 5.1.0) - updated on July 31

We have detected a system failure on the iOS application (Ver. 5.1.0) released on July 23 JST, which changes the book order on the bookshelf unintentionally. Initially, the cause of the outbreak and conditions were not identified, but both were identified as a result of our investigation.

In addition, the latest version of the application (Ver. 5.1.2) has been released today on July 31 JST. Therefore, please update the app to the latest version since part of the Library function on the old version (Ver. 5.1.0) is still limited due to the provisional measures taken on July 25 JST as mentioned below.

[Ver. 5.1.2 iOS Application]
-Please download the latest application from below.
Install BOOK☆WALKER app

[If You’ve had a Problem with Ver. 5.1.0 iOS Application]
- We can change your Library back to the last status saved on the server before 3:00 PM on July 23 JST, when the app was released. Please contact Support by 11:59 PM on August 12 JST if you wish to change your Library status.

[Details of the System Failure]
-Environment: iOS application (Ver. 5.1.0)
-Details of the failure: When adding a book to a bookshelf, the order of books in the bookshelf changes unintentionally.

*The issue occurred only when specific conditions were satisfied on iOS application (Ver. 5.1.0). This issue has not been newly detected after the provisional measures below.

[Provisional Measures Taken on July 25 JST]
-We have forcibly deactivated the function to send data to the server on the iOS application (Ver. 5.1.0) so that the bookshelf data where the problem occurred is not saved or will overwrite data on the server.

As a result, when "Save Library to Server" operation is performed, the dialog, "The library cannot be saved. Please try again with a good internet connection." is displayed. Also, if you have had the "Automatic Sync for Library" function turned on, resend data is accumulated since the data is not automatically synced even when there is a change on the bookshelf. (The Library name will change to red font under [Library Settings] > [Synced Library Information] in such case.) In addition, when you try to turn on " Automatic Sync for Library" from an deactivated state, "syncing with server information" is possible, but "syncing with device information" cannot be performed.

We deeply apologize to all our customers for any inconvenience caused with this issue.
