Thank you very much for using BOOK☆WALKER.

The following changes will be introduced to the BOOK☆WALKER Global Store on March 27 (Wednesday), 2024.
*Date may be subject to change.

The current USD price shown on each title page is an approximate amount based on the base JPY price. After the change, the displayed USD price will be fixed.


*Hereafter referred to as coin and point respectively.
1 point will equal 1 USD and can be only used on the Global Store.

For example, in case of a 1% point-back rate you will earn 0.04 points for a 4.50 USD eBook.
*Granted points are rounded down to the second decimal place (4.50 USD x 1% point-back = 0.045 → 0.04 points)

Please note that it’s not possible to exchange Coins (JPY) to Points (USD).



If you own coins, you can continue to use them on our Global and Japan Store.
After the change, you can pay with coins on the Global Store, but you are limited to one eBook/audiobook per settlement using the new "Buy with Coins (JPY)" function.

Additionally, you will not be able to pay with coins when (a) adding a title to your cart or (b) in combination with coupons as well as (c) together with other payment methods, such as credit cards or PayPal.
However, all current payment benefits for BOOK☆WALKER Coin (JPY) will be available for BOOK☆WALKER Point (USD).

Users making purchases on both Global and Japan stores can rest assured that they will remain able to use both stores with a single account.
If you purchase a title from our Global Store, you will earn points, and if you purchase a title from our Japan Store you will receive coins.

BOOK☆WALKER Android App users from outside of Japan will be able to purchase points via the Google Play Store.
Users from within Japan will only be able to purchase coins, (instead of points) via the Google Play Store.

You will also continue to receive points based on your membership rank as well as the additional 5% boost for Pre-orders and Series Subscriptions on the Global Store.
